My Journey to coaching began in 2005 after having spent a number of years working with organisations such as Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, Boston Consulting Group and Towers Perrin. Despite being very dedicated to my work as a researcher within these prestigious organisations, I knew there was something missing in terms of career fulfilment.
I had a keen interest in personal and people development since graduating with a Masters in Industrial Relations from Warwick University and I also graduated from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development at the same time, but my subsequent path into the City diverted my focus away from this interest for a number of years. It was only after I decided to embark on a Diploma in Coaching from Coaching and Mentoring International (now known as the Coaching Academy) in 2005 that I knew I wanted to get back into the world of people development.
I had personally benefited greatly from my coaching diploma and learnt a lot about myself, but it also dawned on me there were many people across the globe who will experience lack of fulfilment during the course of their lives and who could also benefit greatly by having me work with them as their dedicated coach. My journey as a coach to date has been very fulfilling and I have been privileged enough to work with some very talented people across the globe but my journey is far from over, in actual fact, it's just begun!
